I got Hare

Proud new owner of an '83 rabbit gti.
Shes got AC, techtonics down all the way back, new Hydro head 270 cam, 16v trans w/tall 4th&5th. Neuspeed throttle body. vmaxx coils yikes but rides surprisingly well. a lot of other shit. Problems fixed ...new front windshield glass. Current problems not low enough rattling dash. Future mods ...og rack, wheels , side molding trim, metal euro bumpers, and some sounds.

How about some wide 14's..

Just about a month has passed and still patiently waiting for the mk6 to arrive.
Also You can watch BKosty praise the mk6 with sign language on Futrell's utube vid. Did i hear you say considering jumping into the 6?

Autobahn rape package

Im off I'm bored what do I have to loose.
Long ago I decided to part ways with my mighty 4dr, the golfball in hopes of paving the way of a new fling in my life. Yes, another dub but just not any dub. I would want something that has a bit of performance to back it up as i have not owned anything with more balls than a two point ohh 8v!
Introduced to me was the mk6 via the vortex. Love it, hate it at certain angles but i fell in love. It was game over for drooling on overweight bagged mk5's.
I was able to sell the golfball to long term life dubber, Herman. It was really hard seeing it drive off down Oneawa with the slight poke squat of that that mk3 goodness i have grown to love. Herman has kept me updated of things he has done with the golfball mostly maintenance stuff and most importantly an AC that works. So yah good dubs in good hands.
With the skrillah account growing and the nearing of the launch cars, my hopes were high.
Fast forward to launch week. I was told by cutter they only had one available, a white 4dr. Tony had two available but both in carbon metallic.. one 6sp one dsg. I made the move and scheduled a test drive. So far my tony dealer experience has been non pushy to a point as if my good friend was showing me his car. The decisions were totally up to me. I bit the bullet and put a deposit down to order my gti. The first one to test drive and the first one to order as convinced by my sales associate Tommy. Now the wait begins.

Goodbye golfball!>

I was driving by cutter tonight after a little side dub bizz meeting ;) and spotted the gti in the showroom so I went in for a closer look. Turns out to be fully loaded with DSG no nav. The candy white is sikkkk in person I cant wait for mine!!!

7 Days

I haven't worked anything longer than 5 days straight for a long time until this past week. Brings up memories... Nothing beats the drive and motivation from past youth, working at dominos one month straight... yes one month at different locations. Those days are over! although I was able to purchase an H&R cup kit as a treat from days of sweat and aches. It was also the final cheehuuu for the boys to pay off a 94 golf which is now worth less than my regretful jline knockers. Labor day memories of past.

Breaking shit left and sometimes right

Hello all and to those that stalk.
The Golfball stays as attempts to try and sweet talk deals to fellow dub enthusiasts failed. Even at the lowest of deals my offer is passed up. A series of uncalled for events has forced me to fix the golf and keep her going for another round of months to come.
Forced to get off my ass I made sure tire kick'n test drivers did not include grinding of gears so i fixed the shift linkage alignment. All i had to do was loosen a single nut just a little and no more grinds and it sits in all gears like butter.
I also noticed weeks ago that the throttle cable plastic clip had a crack in it. I shrugged it off as I told myself i would slap some JB weld on there whenever i had time. Well guess what a manhole cover mount made sure i got off my ass and to fix that problem. I ended up getting a new throttle body as the old one was destroyed from the impact also putting a dent under the hood. Great now I'm forced to get body work and paint done.
Sweaty backs forced me to finally get the a/c checked out. Compressor dead. yay!
Don't get me wrong I'm all for mk3's and would keep her if I had room.
The arrival of the MK6 gti is creeping up by the weeks. Money is being put aside long ago and a test drive will happen...garans brah!
S8 FK coilover install...never again>

Sitting Frog

Froggy has been a champ this past week by getting me to and from work in one piece. WHY?
The golf ball decides to snap a shift linkage only to have 3rd and 4th gear nothing else. A quick order from german auto parts solved all. Just need to re-align the shifter and should be good to go.
