Im off I'm bored what do I have to loose.
Long ago I decided to part ways with my mighty 4dr, the golfball in hopes of paving the way of a new fling in my life. Yes, another dub but just not any dub. I would want something that has a bit of performance to back it up as i have not owned anything with more balls than a two point ohh 8v!
Introduced to me was the mk6 via the vortex. Love it, hate it at certain angles but i fell in love. It was game over for drooling on overweight bagged mk5's.
I was able to sell the golfball to long term life dubber, Herman. It was really hard seeing it drive off down Oneawa with the slight poke squat of that that mk3 goodness i have grown to love. Herman has kept me updated of things he has done with the golfball mostly maintenance stuff and most importantly an AC that works. So yah good dubs in good hands.
With the skrillah account growing and the nearing of the launch cars, my hopes were high.
Fast forward to launch week. I was told by cutter they only had one available, a white 4dr. Tony had two available but both in carbon metallic.. one 6sp one dsg. I made the move and scheduled a test drive. So far my tony dealer experience has been non pushy to a point as if my good friend was showing me his car. The decisions were totally up to me. I bit the bullet and put a deposit down to order my gti. The first one to test drive and the first one to order as convinced by my sales associate Tommy. Now the wait begins.
Goodbye golfball!>
